Research theme

Elucidation of functional mechanism of drug-target proteins

Proteins are inherently dynamic entities, and their dynamic behavior is important as they change conformation upon forming complexes with ligands and effector molecules. We utilize nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and other biophysical methods to clarify the functional mechanisms of drug-target proteins based on their dynamic structures.
